It’s now been confirmed that Darth Vader will be appearing in the upcoming Star Wars based movie Rogue One. As IGN reported, leaked artwork had hinted at the possibility of Vader making an appearance in the film, but that theory has been confirmed by Entertainment Weekly.
Apparently Darth will be the bad guy to more than just the rebels looking to get those Death Star blueprints. However, the main antagonist in the film won’t be Darth Vader, but rather an imperial millitary commander named Director Krennic, played by Ben Mendelsohn.
“…but we do know he’ll be an antagonist to more than just the crew of Rebel fighters trying to steal the Death Star plans.”
