In Search for the Best Burger in Northwest Arkansas

I have a love for burgers. If I’m going out, a burger is one of my go-to’s. Thankfully, I live in NWA, where there’s an abundance of really good burgers. But which place has the best burger? That’s the question I’m trying to answer.

There are a lot of burger places in Northwest Arkansas. And there are a lot of good ones. In this post, I’m just going to talk about the ones that I’m considering, and the ones that have already been eliminated. In my next post, I’ll announce which place won my heart, and the title of the best burger in Northwest Arkansas.

No longer being considered:

Below are some restaurants that were either suggested to me, or ones I thought would have one of the best burgers around.

  • The Hive

I expected a lot from The Hive. It’s a fancy eatery that has a good reputation in the community. Perhaps the fact that it is a more upscale establishment is the reason their burger was subpar.

One thing going against this burger was the size. I tend to like burgers that aren’t so thick. And as you can tell from the picture above, The Hive’s burger is thick. Also, the pimento cheese on the burger made me kind of sick. I don’t hate pimento cheese usually, but this was not good.

In the end, the burger was just kind of gross.

  • Scotch & Soda

I don’t have a picture of this one so I’m just going to talk about it. This burger was hyped up by some of my friends, so I expected a lot. I was sorely disappointed. The burger honestly was lacking flavor or anything exciting. It had caramelized onions and a house mayo, but it just didn’t work for me.

The burger patty itself had a good flavor, but that wasn’t enough for me. Overall, I certainly don’t think this is one of the best burgers in NWA. And it wasn’t worth the $16 price tag.

Still being considered:

These places are still being considered. It’s really tough choosing between them, they all have such wonderful burgers.

  • Natural Muse
1500 S Walton Blvd
Bentonville, AR
  • Butcher & Pint
7880, 1201 S Walton Blvd #105
Bentonville, AR
  • Parkside Public
112 S 1st Street
Rogers, AR

I’ll be trying to decide between these above restaurants. They’re all so good though, so it’s going to be difficult. If you love good burgers, you should check these places out.
