Trey Radel Taking Leave Of Absence After Cocaine Arrest

The Republican Congressman from Florida announced Wednesday that he will take a leave of absence. Rep Radel pleaded guilty to cocaine possession earlier this week.

The Congressman said Wednesday:

“I’m struggling with a disease and I know I can overcome it,”

The crime Radel has been charged with is a misdemeanor. He was caught trying to buy 3.5 grams of cocaine for $250 from an undercover agent.
