Firefox once dominated the browser market. Now, Firefox is on a steady decline. Why are people switching to other browsers? What’s making them run from Firefox?

I think there is one main reason for internet users steering clear of Firefox. Firefox is not what you would call a lightweight browser. It is not as quick as Chrome or others. In fact, Firefox loses the speed battle against most of the well-known browsers.

Even though Firefox isn’t as quick as some of the others, it can still do some things better.  Firefox can handle large amounts of open tabs better than others. It can also stream video super smoothly.

However, when it comes down to it, people want speed. They want to get to Facebook, Gmail, or Google search in the least amount of time. I don’t blame them.
