Dark Souls 3 Release Dates Begin

The Dark Souls 3 release dates have officially begun, with Japan’s epic date being released first, obviously. Japanese gamers will be able to enjoy the game on March 24, 2016, which isn’t long off at all. The retail edition will include a special map and soundtrack as well, so you can only imagine what the special edition of the game will be like.

As listed on the Dark Souls website, Dark Souls 3 will be released for PS4 and Xbox One consoles in Japan first. The PC date will be announced later on.

By now, Western gamers are on the edges of their seats, because this can only mean one thing: a Western release date announcement. According to Gematsu, both the PC edition, and Western release dates, will be announced in a few days.

In the meantime, to hold impatient gamers over, Dark Souls 3 director, Hidetaka Miyazaki, has shared some exciting crumbs of information. For starters, gamers will be able to fast travel from the start, just like in Dark Souls 2. This is fantastic news, since getting around in Dark Souls was tedious in the beginning.

The other piece of information given is that Dark Souls 3 will allow stat relocation. Surely, a lot of gamers will be happy over this, especially those that get halfway through the game and hate their characters.
