Google Now is quickly expanding. It started as a Siri/Notification center-like service on Android and can now be used on iPhone and Chrome on desktops.
Once you get on Google Now, you can say “ok Google” and ask your question. Along with the voice recognition, Now also displays ‘Cards’ which can notify you about traffic, weather, nearby events and more.
Awhile ago, Google launched their voice recognition on Chrome desktop. Now, Google Now is on Chrome as well.
Users of Google Now on iPhone or Android should now see their cards in Chrome when they open a new tab. Currently, the desktop version is a bit limited, but Google will probably update it with more features soon.
Although Google Now has grown, it still has a lot of growing to do. The potential for Now is clearly there.
