iPhones are the best phone out there (sorry faithful android users). But they could still be improved. One thing iPhones do not do smoothly is store and organize files well.
Sure, the photos app does great at organizing your pictures and videos, but what about word documents, PDFs, etc.? That’s where it falls short.
That’s why I think Apple should include a finder-like application to handle such files. This would make being productive from your phone so much easier, and make business people around the world overjoyed.
I know some of you are thinking “but Apple already has iCloud Drive on iPhone, so what are you whining about?” Yes that’s true, but it’s not what I want. I don’t want everything to have to go through iCloud Drive to be useable on my phone. There should be local storage available for documents, and handling them should be made easier.
It wouldn’t be that difficult for Apple, either. I think perhaps they may not want to because it’d make iPhones too useful and their personal computers may further lose popularity. But I don’t think that’s a good reason. I’d still want my laptop and iMac. It would just make on the go productivity so much easier.
