This is the second week of Pocket Premium, where we look at the latest and/or the most popular mobile games. As the title suggests, this time we’ll be looking at 99 Bricks Wizard Academy and Call of Duty Heroes.
99 Bricks Wizard Academy
This game is pretty addictive and if you’ve ever played tetris, you’ll get the idea of the game quickly. The goal is to stack the bricks–or whatever they are–as high as you can. You can only drop three bricks off your tower in one game before you lose.
If you place a brick in the wrong orientation or where you hadn’t intended, you can use the lightning bolt at the top right of the screen to eliminate it.
Like most free games, there are advertisements which obviously take away from the game. But I still found it playable.
It’s a pretty fun game and is definitely worth the download. Go get it for free from the Google Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=nl.weirdbeard.brickswizardacademy&hl=en
Call of Duty: Heroes
This is an adaption of the console franchise, produced by Activision. From the screenshot, you can tell it’s not your normal Call of Duty. Still, if you’re looking for an action game on your phone, downloading this game can’t hurt.
But if you’re a hardcore COD fan you probably won’t enjoy this game. It’s more of a strategy game while other COD games are obviously not.

Bonus/A Timeless Game; “Badland”
Badland is by no means a new game, but it is a great one. In this maze-like game, you must complete the level by squeezing through dangerous caves and avoid giant killer saw blades and other obstacles. This game has got to be one of my all-time favorite mobile games. It’s just that good. Find the download links for your device here: http://www.badlandgame.com/
