Slack Now Valued At $2.8 Billion

Slack, the ever-growing collaboration tool for companies big and small is now valued at 2.8 billion.Up from its $1.12 billion valuation in October of 2014. The company raised $160 million in this latest funding round. According to the company, 750,000 people now use the app daily. And Slack has over 200,000 paid subscribers to their service.

Slack is used by some pretty huge companies. To name a few:  Adobe, PayPal, New York Times, BuzzFeed, HBO, and even the State Department use Slack’s premium service.

Over the last several months, Slack has seen tremendous growth. Thankfully for them, there’s no sign of that growth slowing. In fact, Slack became the fastest-growing workplace software ever.
